Qualifications:
1. Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
2. Current state licensure as a mental health counselor or eligibility to obtain licensure.
3. Clinical experience in a counseling or therapy setting, preferably working with diverse populations.
4. Strong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Wellness Coordinator 

To support the smooth functioning of our counseling practice, we are seeking an administrative assistant who will play a crucial role in managing various administrative tasks. Below is a description and the requirements for this position:

Description:

1. Scheduling and Appointment Management: Your primary responsibility will be managing the scheduling and coordination of counseling appointments. This includes efficiently scheduling client sessions, coordinating with counselors' availability, and sending appointment reminders to clients.

2. Client Communication: You will be responsible for handling phone calls, emails, and other forms of client communication. This includes responding to inquiries, addressing client concerns, and maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor in all interactions.

3. Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and databases will be an essential task. This includes inputting client information, updating treatment plans, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

4. Billing and Financial Management: Assisting with billing and financial tasks, such as creating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and managing insurance claims, will be part of your responsibilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions is crucial.

5. Office Coordination: Supporting the overall functioning of the counseling practice, you will perform general office tasks such as organizing files, ordering office supplies, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and managing the cleanliness and organization of the office space.

6. Confidentiality and Ethics: Upholding confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling client information and maintaining professional boundaries is of utmost importance in this role.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for this position. Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or counseling setting, is highly desirable.

Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate mental health counselor to join our team. The mental health counselor will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. The counselor will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

 

Additionally, the counselor will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.


2. Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.


3. Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and resources.


4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.


5. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.


6. Stay updated on current research, best practices, and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health counseling.


7. Participate in regular supervision and consultation to ensure professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.


8. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies or high levels of distress.
